Vintage poster print features a 1950s advertisement for boutique French perfume company Le Galion which created 24 fragrances between the late 1930s and the beginning of the 1990s.

'Bourrasque' was created and released in 1937. Literally translated 'bourrasque' means squall or gust of wind and is a feminine noun. Almost all of Le Galion’s advertisements, including this one, were created by French artist Claude Maurel in the 1940s and 1950s. Today Le Galion fragrances are much sought after by vintage perfume collectors and are typical of 1930s to 1950s tastes.
